School Advisory Committee

In addition to the Board of Directors, in 2008 a ‘School Advisory Committee’ was appointed to assist the governing body in matters of school governance. The School Advisory Committee exists to advise the Board of Directors on matters of school policy.

Their input centres on areas of educational governance, upholding the school’s values, and providing practical links between GSCS and other learning institutions. To ensure the effectiveness of the School Advisory Committee, we seek a diversity of people whose range of skills, qualifications and experience enhance our ability to provide a balanced school environment.

Each member of the School Advisory Committee is required to be a member of GSBC and in good standing with the church membership. As with the Directors, each member of the School Advisory Committee serves in a voluntary capacity.
